Schroeder, Maundrell, Barbiere & Powers is a team of fourteen experienced trial counsel located in suburban Cincinnati. SMB&P was formed in 1994 to provide individuals, corporations, insurers, government entities, government employees, and school districts with personalized, high-quality civil litigation services.

SMB&P represents clients before state and federal courts throughout the Midwest. Members of the firm are licensed to practice in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Massachusetts and represent clients on a pro hac vice basis in many other jurisdictions. SMB&P attorneys practice in multiple areas of the law, including medical malpractice, general insurance defense, admiralty and maritime law, civil rights, governmental and police liability, legal and professional malpractice, employment law, school law, and insurance coverage.
