Ali Shehzar Iftikhar

Ali S. Iftikhar is an Associate with the firm's Miami office, working in Personal Injury and Insurance Defense Litigation. Mr. Iftikhar spent his formative years growing up in Karachi, Pakistan. He then attended the University of Miami, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History in 2011. After completing his undergraduate studies, he attended the University of Miami School of Law, and obtained his Juris Doctor in 2015.

Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Mr. Iftikhar worked in wealth management and financial consulting with AXA Advisors, LLC. He also worked with UnitedLex, conducting e-discovery for complex litigation and mergers and acquisitions matters.

While in law school, Mr. Iftikhar interned for the civil rights division of the Council on American Islamic Relations, and worked as a summer law clerk for Americans for Immigrant Justice. Mr. Iftikhar was also elected as the Vice President-Marketing for the Federal Bar Association's Miami Law Chapter. Being an avid theatre fan, and having performed on stage since he was young, Mr. Iftikhar was an active member of Equity Playhouse; a group for law students with an interest, and background in theatre. He participated in Equity Playhouse's annual play for all three years in law school.

Mr. Iftikhar is fluent in Urdu and Punjabi, and conversational in Hindi and Spanish.
