Amanda E. Sisney

Amanda E. Sisney is an Associate in the Overland Park, Kansas, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. She specializes in representing businesses in handling all phases of employment disputes, and has extensive e-discovery experience.

Ms. Sisney has assisted with trials, represented clients in arbitration and in court, and drafted appellate briefs, summary judgment motions, motions to dismiss, trial court briefs, and discovery pleadings.

Ms. Sisney has experience providing advice and counsel to corporate clients regarding employment matters from comprehensive handbook audits to day-to-day guidance, including employment contracts, wage and hour classifications, accommodation issues, and internal investigations.

While attending law school, Ms. Sisney served as a staff editor and as the Footnote and Format Editor of the Kansas Journal of Law & Public Policy. She also completed an internship with the Honorable K. Gary Sebelius, Magistrate Judge for the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas.
