ABOUT Andrew J. Vallejo
Andrew is a member of the Casualty Department and handles matters involving automobile and premises liability.
In 2010, Andrew graduated from Valley Forge Military College and earned an Associates of Arts in Business Administration. Thereafter, Andrew earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication and Economics from Rutgers University. Subsequently, he earned his juris doctor from Rutgers Law School.
During his time at Valley Forge Military College, Andrew served as the Class Vice President while simultaneously participating in the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Early Commissioning Program serving in such roles as Executive Officer and Squad Leader. After graduating from Valley Forge, Andrew proceeded to Rutgers University where he majored in Communication and Economics and served as the Vice President of the Rutgers University Interfraternity Council. At Rutgers Law School, Andrew served as the President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and as the Business Editor for Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion.
Andrew joined the United States Army in the Fall of 2008 and has served in both the Pennsylvania and New Jersey National Guard. He has served in military units such as Judge Advocate General (JAG), Cavalry and Finance. He currently serves in the New Jersey National Guard as a Detachment Commander.
Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey as a summer law clerk in May of 2017, Andrew was a legal extern for the Office of Inspector General in the Office of General Counsel for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, where he performed research assignments and drafted memorandum opinions on a number of cases involving fraud, waste and misconduct in executive.
Andrew is admitted to practice in the state of New Jersey.

We obtained summary judgment on behalf of a commercial tenant in a premises liability case. The plaintiff brought suit against our client, the commercial landlord and the City of Newark. The plaintiff alleged that the parties failed to maintain a condition of the sidewalk that caused a trip and fall.
