Andrew W. Barnes

Andrew W. Barnes is a Shareholder practicing in Kotz Sangster Wysocki P.C.’s Niles and South Haven offices. He is a graduate of the Michigan State University College of Law and Western Michigan University. Mr. Barnes has extensive experience in the areas of Real Estate Transactions, Mortgages, Commercial and Residential Mortgage Foreclosures, and Debt Collection Litigation.

Mr. Barnes represents numerous financial institutions in matters including complex commercial foreclosures, residential foreclosures, loan workouts and forbearance agreements, and debt collection litigation. Mr. Barnes also has extensive experience in the area of real estate law, as he frequently represents clients in commercial and residential real estate transactions, land contract forfeitures, eviction actions, and lease negotiations. Mr. Barnes’ practice areas also include General Civil Litigation, Business Formation, and Estate Planning.

Mr. Barnes advises and represents numerous Convention and Visitors Bureaus from across Michigan in matters related to the enforcement of the various Convention and Tourism Marketing Acts that exist under Michigan law.
