Anna Jinjolava

Anna Jinjolava is a senior associate in WSHB’s White Plains, New York office, where she focuses her practice on commercial and business litigation, labor law, and intellectual property matters.

Anna enjoys varied experience in handling transactional matters, litigation and appeals. This includes litigating multi-million dollar art transactions and appeals. Anna was employed previously as a special legal counsel to Georgian companies advising them on restructuring, financial activities, fraud prevention and compliance within the European and U.S. legal framework. She has lived in Germany, Georgia, Russia, Japan and the United States, which has given her an edge and appreciation in terms of legal systems and nuances associated with the international clientele of the firm.

Anna received her LL.M (Master of Laws) from the Benjamin N. Cardoza School of Law, where she received the Dean’s Merit Scholarship and the Georgian President’s Scholarship. She received her law degree (J.D. equivalent) at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, Germany. Anna also took part in an exchange semester at the Kyushu University in Fukuoka, Japan.

In her free time, Anna is actively involved in pro bono activities. She is active in giving counsel on bankruptcy proceedings and has successfully negotiated numerous debt restructuring agreements. Her pro bono work includes representation of low income families in the New York area on family and immigration law matters and assists them at court hearings.

She is fluent in Russian and German, and is a native Georgian speaker.
