Anthony M. Heller

Anthony M. Heller joined the firm as a partner in 2007. He is now Of Counsel to the firm after a distinguished career specializing in the defense of medical, podiatric, chiropractic and dental claims for health providers in these practice areas. He also defended general liability claims including premises liability, construction accidents, products liability, and elevator accidents. He has been regularly named one of the "Best Lawyers in America."

Tony has authored numerous articles for specialty medical journals and texts such as Podiatry Management and Diabetic Footcare, and he has lectured at risk management programs and continuing medical education programs sponsored by Physicians Reciprocal Insurers. He teaches annually at Hofstra University Law School's NITA Trial Advocacy Program.

He is a Member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, DRI, NYS Bar Association - Trial Lawyers Section.

As Of Counsel, Tony advises clients with regard medico-legal issues, issues of risk management and healthcare while guiding a new generation of lawyers at HPM&B. The firm and its clients continue to benefit from Tony’s wealth of knowledge and experience as a litigator and trial lawyer.
