Asher I. Labendz

Asher I. Labendz focuses his practice on counseling and defending clients in a variety of workers’ compensation matters. His extensive experience includes overseeing New York State workers’ compensation caseloads, representing carriers and third-party administrators in cases before the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board, and preparing memoranda of law on issues involving willful misrepresentation, coverage, and liability. Asher draws on this knowledge to advise clients on a wide range of complex and pressing matters and to coordinate effective and innovative litigation strategies to help clients achieve desired results.

Prior to entering private legal practice, Asher served as a court representative for the Center for Alternative Sentencing and Employment Services and the Centralized Court Screening Services and as a legislative aide for the City of New York.
