Ashley Overton Boone

Originally from Rocky Mount, North Carolina, Ashley Boone graduated in 1996 from North Carolina State University. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science, with a minor in Criminal Justice. Her background in political science, coupled with her passion for history and real estate, led her to Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware. Ms. Boone interned every summer for a local real estate attorney while she was in law school, gaining a vast knowledge of loan document preparation and title searches. This experience gave her insight into how to work with clients and coordinate between the multiple parties involved in each property transaction. She graduated with her J.D. in 2001, and, after years of legal experience, joined Bagwell Holt Smith P.A. in 2015.

Married with four children, Ms. Boone is an active member of her church and enjoys relaxing with her family, watching sports, and spending time outdoors. She is aware that some clients can find the closing process frustrating and she helps to put them at ease by answering their questions quickly, honestly, and in a manner that can be understood. Ms. Boone empathizes that buying or building a house can be stressful and states that she “enjoys being the end of that long process, allowing the client to finally relax and… forget what happened before with the loan approval or the future of the dreaded unpacking.”
