Austin Michael Hagee

Austin M. Hagee is a trial lawyer whose practice focuses on torts, insurance litigation, and commercial litigation in both state and federal courts. He also has experience in employment law, business law, construction law, and all forms of alternative dispute resolution. Austin’s goal is to provide his clients with excellent representation regardless of the venue their litigation takes them, whether that is trial, mediation, or arbitration. Austin also works with business clients in corporate governance and contractual matters to keep business relationships running smooth and out of the courtroom.

Prior to joining MDJW, Austin served the citizens of Bexar County as an Assistant District Attorney where he tried over twelve jury trials to a verdict. During law school, he clerked for the Honorable Dan A. Naranjo as an arbitration and litigation law clerk.

Austin graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio’s Honors College and went on to attend St. Mary’s University School of Law on a Dean’s scholarship. At St. Mary’s Law, Austin was inducted into The Order of Barristers, Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society, competed on the National Negotiations Team, and served as a staff writer for St. Mary’s specialty law review, The Scholar.

Outside of work Austin likes to stay involved in his community by serving on the boards of the Deliverance Free Clinic, St. Mary’s University School of Law Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD) Council, and the San Antonio Young Lawyers Association. In his free time Austin enjoys hiking, skiing, playing basketball, and traveling.
