Benjamin A. Nicolosi, Jr.

Ben's practice covers a wide array of civil litigation, including products liability, natural gas drilling matters, dram shop, insurance bad faith, premises liability, trucking and motor vehicle. During the course of his career, Ben has tried over 50 cases to verdict in several federal and state court jurisdictions throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania, including arguing before the Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and Pennsylvania Superior Court.

With a keen understanding of the expanding set of legal issues arising out of developments in Marcellus Shale litigation, Ben has handled complicated, high-exposure trucking matters along with products liability, pipeline construction accidents and other personal injury/property matters. Ben has also counseled insurers on products liability claims alleging defective equipment and on contractual matters in play in the industry.

Ben's clients include several national retail chains in premises liability, automobile and products liability matters.

Defense Melts Snowmobiler's Case

Obtained a defense verdict in a premises liability action that was brought directly against an international energy company conducting significant work in the Marcellus Shale region of Pennsylvania. The plaintiff alleged that, while she was a passenger on a snowmobile, the snowmobile hit a drainage ditch recently dug to accommodate a new access road for the energy company to access a well pad and that she was ejected, sustaining multiple fractures in her back.
