Benoy K. Sanil

Benoy K. Sanil is an associate in the firm’s Fort Myers office. He practices in the areas of catastrophic personal injury, premises liability, products liability, and general civil litigation.

Mr. Sanil obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology from Florida State University with a Certificate in Leadership Studies. He subsequently obtained his Juris Doctorate Degree from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where he served as a member of the Board of Advocates.

Prior to law school, Mr. Sanil interned with a national civil rights firm based in Tallahassee. While in law school, he interned for the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality and the Louisiana Department of Revenue. During law school, he also clerked for the Honorable Judge Donald R. Johnson in the 19th Judicial District Court of Louisiana and Magistrate Judge Richard L. Bourgeois, Jr. in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana. Before entering his final year, Mr. Sanil served as a legal intern for the United States Army JAG Corps under the 1st Cavalry Division in Fort Hood, Texas.

Before joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Mr. Sanil worked with a plaintiffs firm that specialized in the areas of personal injury, products liability, admiralty/maritime, and workers compensation.
