ABOUT Brandon D. Zeller
Brandon D. Zeller focuses his practice on counseling and defending insurers in all areas of litigation, particularly in construction defect and bad faith matters. He regularly handles environmental litigation involving the Clean Water Act and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA). Brandon also has extensive experience handling environmental, liability, and coverage issues for clients in the oil and gas industry, as well as royalty disputes, downhole litigation, environmental claims regarding historical oil and gas operations, and offshore regulatory matters. In addition to handling litigation, Brandon writes for several of the firm’s publications, including the Environmental Law Monitor, the Insurance and Reinsurance Report, and the Asbestos Case Tracker, where he writes about coverage and allocation issues.
As a law student, Brandon participated in Harvard’s Emmett Environmental Law and Policy Clinic, where he represented renewable energy companies in administrative litigation and drafted assorted memoranda on various topics pertaining to environmental law, and interned at the North Carolina Department of Justice.
