Bren K. Thomas

Bren K. Thomas is a Principal in the Orange County, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling.

Mr. Thomas has extensive litigation experience that includes conducting numerous jury and bench trials involving complex commercial issues and matters related to:

•Class actions;
•ERISA;
•Title VII;
•The Americans with Disabilities Act;
•The Age Discrimination in Employment Act;
•The Family and Medical Leave Act; and
•Related state claims.

With more than 50 trials under his belt, Mr. Thomas has a winning percentage of almost 85 percent on behalf of clients. He also has experience trying class actions, including a successful four-and-a-half month wage and hour class action trial, as well as ERISA matters. He has litigated before numerous administrative bodies, including the California Fair Employment and Housing Commission, the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Communications Commission and is a regular speaker at seminars and continuing education courses on litigation and insurance issues.

Prior to entering law school, Mr. Thomas worked in management with two national retail chains.
