Cameron Stewart

Cameron A. Stewart is a partner in Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck’s Los Angeles office. She is a trial lawyer who represents employers and management in all aspects of employment law and labor relations, including litigation and preventive counseling, wage and hour matters, including class actions, wrongful termination, Title VII and the California Fair Employment and Housing Act, sexual harassment training and investigations. A substantial portion of Ms. Stewart’s practice involves the defense of private and public sector employers in employment discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, class actions, litigation in State and Federal court as well as, arbitration proceedings. Her clients include major technology companies, manufacturing companies, retailers, financial institutions, and professional firms.

Ms. Stewart began her career as a litigation attorney for the Law Offices of Johnnie L. Cochran, Jr., handling personal injury and major catastrophic cases from inception to trial. She became the first female Managing Partner of the Cochran Firm and Chair of its National Employment Litigation Section.

Before joining KDV, Ms. Stewart was senior counsel with Nemecek & Cole, a prominent San Fernando Valley law firm, where she managed the firm’s Employment Litigation Department.

Ms. Stewart is a native of the Pacific Northwest where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. She double majored in Journalism and Political Science. Ms. Stewart received her Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.

Ms. Stewart has made significant contributions to numerous charitable organizations including LA Works, a nonprofit volunteer organization, tutoring and serving as a mentor for Los Angeles’ underprivileged inner city children.
