Charles E. Moody

Charles Moody is an AV Preeminent rated lawyer and a Partner in our office in Nashville, Tennessee, where he has practiced since April 2006. He specializes in defense of long-term care facilities, hospitals, and other health care providers, along with defense of non-medical professionals in civil litigation throughout the state of Tennessee.

Earlier in his career, he practiced in Dallas for more than 20 years following completion of his clerkship for Justice William H.D. Fones of the Tennessee Supreme Court. Before coming to Hall Booth Smith, Charles practiced defense and plaintiff’s medical malpractice law in Dallas, where he was involved in a number of high-profile lawsuits on both the plaintiff and defense sides of the docket.

He earned a Juris Doctorate from Memphis State University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, also from Memphis State University.
