Christine M. Fitzgerald

Christine M. Fitzgerald is an Associate in the San Diego, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in all aspects of employment litigation, including wage and hour class and representative actions, single plaintiff wage and hour disputes, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination.

Ms. Fitzgerald practices in both state and federal court and before the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, and the California Department of Industrial Relations - Division of Labor Standards Enforcement. Ms. Fitzgerald’s practice also includes counseling and advising employers on personnel issues such as hiring, discipline, termination and leaves of absence.

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Ms. Fitzgerald worked at a firm in San Diego focusing on employment defense litigation. Ms. Fitzgerald spent two years clerking for the Honorable Mark D. Houle, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge, for the Central District of California, and two years clerking for the Honorable Scott C. Clarkson, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge, for the Central District of California. Prior to her clerkships, Ms. Fitzgerald worked at a boutique firm in Los Angeles specializing in bankruptcy, commercial litigation and transactional matters.
