ABOUT Christopher J. Seusing

Christopher Seusing is an experienced commercial and complex litigation attorney, who focuses his practice on professional liability and employment practices, information governance, cyber liability and e-Discovery management. Chris is also well-versed in product liability multi-district litigation, mass tort defense and class actions. Chris is also a member of WSHB’s Rapid Response team, working onsite at catastrophic events to help ensure that evidence is preserved and effectively gathered for use in potential claims and litigation, including transportation-related incidents.

Chris represents companies and professionals in complex litigation matters around the country, including responding to data breach incidents and regulatory inquiries. He counsels clients and drafts information management policies and procedures in compliance with privacy regulations, such as HIPAA and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Chris also coordinates domestic and international collections of terabytes of data, trains and monitors forensic and document review teams, and collaborates with case teams to implement cost-effective processes using state-of-the-art litigation tools, including analytics and technology-assisted review.

He is also part of an international legal team focused on data protection and cybersecurity which is regularly called upon by public and private entities to navigate emerging challenges. Chris is a member of WSHB’s Coronavirus Rapid Response Team focused on cyber security issues which have taken a heightened level of scrutiny by our clients, particularly with remote working arrangements and data security issues which are changing daily. He is well-regarded for his real time knowledge based on best practices which dovetails into his sage counsel on risk management, mitigation and claim avoidance.

Additionally, Chris is a published thought leader, guest lecturer at law schools, and sought after speaker on cybersecurity and e-Discovery.
