Clemente J. Parente

Clemente J. Parente is Of Counsel in the Albany, New York, office of Jackson Lewis, P.C. He has nearly 25 years of litigation experience, and has been with Jackson Lewis since October 2012. Mr. Parente's practice concentrates on general employment litigation.

Mr. Parente has litigated cases before state and federal courts as well as various administrative agencies and arbitration panels, including claims of employment discrimination, sexual harassment, civil rights, breach of contract, restrictive covenant violations and wage-hour claims. He is a first chair litigator, with trial experience in state and federal courts, and appellate arguments in the Appellate Division for the Third and First Departments in New York.

Mr. Parente also counsels employers on various employment law matters as well as the development and implementation of preventive employment practices.

Mr. Parente served as an Administrative Law Judge for the New York Racing and Wagering Board form December 2009 - October 2012.
