Cynthia L. Filla

Cynthia L. (“Cindy”) Filla is a Principal in the Los Angeles, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. She represents employers and individual defendants in all types of employment litigation, including sexual harassment, discrimination on the basis of sex, race, age, religion, disability, retaliation and wrongful termination.

For the past several years, Ms. Filla has defended employers in wage and hour matters, including class action lawsuits.

Ms. Filla also helps clients avoid litigation by developing policies and providing advice on employment related issues, including discipline and termination, workplace investigations, and managing leaves of absences. She regularly speaks at seminars for human resources professionals and attorneys about workplace issues. She develops and conducts sexual harassment prevention training for California supervisors in compliance with AB 1825.

Ms. Filla has briefed and argued cases before the California Courts of Appeal and the Ninth Circuit.
