Daniel Curran Waslawski

Daniel C. Waslawski is an Associate in the Detroit, Michigan, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling and litigation, including class actions.

While attending law school, Mr. Waslawski was an Associate Editor for the Michigan State University Law Review and participated in the Trial Practice Institute. He also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable David W. McKeague of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Mr. Waslawski was an associate at a labor and employment firm in metropolitan Detroit. He worked as a research attorney for the Michigan Court of Appeals before entering private practice.

Mr. Waslawski has handled a wide variety of matters throughout his career, including FLSA and state wage and hour claims, sexual harassment claims, complex trade secrets cases, First Amendment litigation, commercial litigation, and general employment litigation. He also has significant experience in representing employers in administrative and governmental investigations, including investigations conducted by the U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Department of Labor, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Michigan Department of Civil Rights, and the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.

Mr. Waslawski devotes much of his practice to counseling and advising clients on their employment agreements, handbooks and policies, wage and hour practices, e-discovery compliance and management, and drug and alcohol testing.
