Darrell John

Darrell John joined Conway Farrell in 2001 and is a Managing Partner in the firm’s Litigation group. He focuses his practice on the defense of business entities against commercial, construction accident, construction defect, design defect, environmental, personal injury, products liability, and property damage claims. In the course of litigation, Darrell employs his knowledge and expertise to steer matters toward favorable outcomes for the firm’s clients including early resolution and summary disposition. He has taken successful defense verdicts, and has argued successful appeals in New York and Massachusetts.

Darrell counsels the firm’s business clients with an understanding of their objectives, activities, and structure on issues of contract drafting and contract interpretation. He also counsels them on issues of litigation avoidance, risk tolerance, mitigation, and transfer. Darrell is a member of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM) and Defense Association of New York (DANY). He co-chairs DANY’s Insurance Law committee.
