ABOUT David A. Jagolinzer
David A. Jagolinzer is a shareholder of The Ferraro Law Firm who specializes in complex cases that involve product liability, toxic torts, catastrophic injury and wrongful death, as well as representing victims of asbestos exposure. Mr. Jagolinzer has been successful in obtaining millions of dollars for thousands of the Firm's clients both in trials and in pretrial settlements. In 2008, in Guilder v. Honeywell Int'l, Inc., Mr. Jagolinzer's $24.2 million jury verdict for a 51 year old doctor suffering from peritoneal mesothelioma made The National Law Journal's Top 100 Verdicts. This is the highest compensatory damage award in Florida against a single defendant in an asbestos case. In prior years, Mr. Jagolinzer tried multiple cases to verdict against Fortune 500 companies with million dollar awards. In addition to verdicts at the trial court level, Mr. Jagolinzer has also successfully argued and won major victories for the Firm's clients in appellate courts. Mr. Jagolinzer's most recent appellate victory is in Daniel N. Williams, et al. v. American Optical Corp. et. al. , 985 So.2d 23 (Fla.4th DCA 2008) where the 4th District Court of Appeals struck down and found unconstitutional Florida's Asbestos Statute which limited victims' ability to seek compensation for their injuries. Mr. Jagolinzer is admitted to the Florida, Massachusetts and District of Columbia Bars and actively litigates cases in various other states. Mr. Jagolinzer is a member of the American Bar Association, Florida Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, District of Columbia Bar Association, Dade County Professionalism Committee, American Association for Justice, the National Italian American Bar Association and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
