Elise Ruff

Elise is a graduate from The John Marshall Law School. While she was a student, Elise clerked for the Honorable Justice E. Gordon of the First District, 4th Division. She assisted in drafting various opinions and fine-tuned her analytical research skills. Elise was the Candidacy Editor of the Review of Intellectual Property Law. She competed in the National Cultural Heritage Law Moot Court Competition on behalf of John Marshall. She was a supervising teaching assistant for Professor Maureen Kordesh in her Property Law Class for two years. Her comment was published in the John Marshall Review of Intellectual Property Law Journal.

Prior to joining Malman Law, Elise worked as a law clerk at Motherway & Napleton for two years. As a law clerk, Elise assisted on complex medical malpractice, products liability, and construction negligence cases. Prior to Motherway & Napleton, Elise worked as a law clerk for Jennifer Irmen where she also focused on Plaintiff’s personal injury.

Attorney Elise is committed to zealously representing families and individuals who have been injured due to nursing home and medical negligence. She prides herself on her “client-first” approach and makes herself readily available to clients to discuss their case.

Elise is originally from Indiana, and enjoys spending time with her family whenever possible. In her free time, Elise enjoys traveling, reading, and supporting the Indiana Hoosier basketball team.
