ABOUT Erika Barbara Pickles
Erika Barbara Pickles is Of Counsel in the Sacramento, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. She represents employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling.
Ms. Pickles has defended employers in employment litigation, class actions, and arbitrations. Her practice has involved the full range of workplace-related claims, including but not limited to: wage and hour; discrimination, harassment and retaliation; and wrongful termination. She also assists employers in investigating and responding to administrative complaints before the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Ms. Pickles focuses on prevention by providing clients with advice and counseling, handbook reviews, and trainings.
In addition to her current position in Jackson Lewis’ Sacramento office, Ms. Pickles was a member of Jackson Lewis’ San Francisco office. She also served as employment law counsel and labor law advisor with the California Chamber of Commerce, the state’s largest employer association.
While attending law school, Ms. Pickles received awards for legal writing, was on the Board of Directors of the Moot Court Honors Program and participated in the Advocate of the Year Advanced Moot Court Competition. She also studied abroad at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland and Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic.
