Fort A. Zackary, Jr.

Mr. Zackary attended the University of Kansas on a Navy ROTC scholarship and participated on the varsity wrestling team. He served on active duty in the United States Navy as a carrier pilot, attaining the rank of Commander and earning Meritorious Service Medals as Commanding Officer of VRC-30 and Air Boss on U.S.S. Independence. After leaving the Navy, he was an Investment Representative with Edward Jones & Co. before attending law school. While attending Thomas Jefferson School of Law, Mr. Zackary participated in numerous interschool competitions as an oral advocate on both the Mock Trial Team and the Moot Court Team.

Mr. Zackary primarily represents developer and subcontractor clients in complex construction defect and personal injury lawsuits. He has also prosecuted drug and immigration cases in federal court as a Special Assistant United States Attorney. His experience includes mediations, arbitrations and trials.

Mr. Zackary is licensed to practice in California and Oregon courts. He is an airline transport rated multi-engine pilot, a member of the Clairemont Hills Kiwanis Club and a San Diego Padres season ticket holder. He is also a member of the San Diego County Bar Association and the San Diego Defense Lawyers Association.
