Ian Kaplan

Ian Kaplan is an associate in WSHB’s Orange County office. His practice is primarily focused on insurance coverage, which includes both commercial and personal lines. Ian has handled numerous cases and prepared legal opinions on a wide-range of matters, including general liability, construction defect, uninsured/underinsured motorists, commercial leases, and commercial transactions.

Ian is a graduate of the University of Oregon School of Law. During law school, he participated in the Business Law Clinic, where he gained practical experience with legal issues concerning contracts, leases, entity formation, and other business matters for general contractors and LLCs. He also served as a judicial extern for the Hon. Elizabeth G. Macias at the Orange County Superior Court in Santa Ana, California.

He is a proud recipient of his law school’s Pro Bono Award, which Ian received for providing pro bono legal services to underserved populations in the Oregon community.
