James Ferguson

James Ferguson is a graduate of Siena College where he received a Bachelor's degree in Finance. He worked for a year at the Ayco Company, LP, before attending Albany Law School. Thereafter, he obtained his Juris Doctor in 2013 and was admitted to the New York State Bar and New Jersey State Bar in 2014.James began his legal career clerking in chambers with the Honorable Thomas J. McNamara, Court of Claims and Acting Justice of the Supreme Court, 3rd JD, and thereafter was a law clerk for the Honorable Richard E. Sise, Acting Presiding Judge of Court of Claims, Acting Justice of the Supreme Court, 3rd and 4th JD. James has since worked for JP Morgan Chase and then briefly in matrimonial and family law.When the opportunity to begin his legal career at Martin, Harding & Mazzotti, LLP became available, James gladly joined the firm as it was a great fit for James' experience and passion to help ensure everyone's rights are recognized and defended.In his time away from the firm, Jim coaches rugby at Union College and enjoys beating his brother, Christopher, in tennis.
