James Thomas Hammer

San Francisco Bay Area criminal defense lawyer Jim Hammer is a former prosecutor in Santa Clara and Alameda County, and most recently with the San Francisco D.A.'s office. As head of the homicide unit, Jim made international headlines with the successful prosecution of the tragic Diane Whipple dog mauling case. The jury convicted defendants Marjorie Knoller and Robert Knoll of Penal Code 187 murder.
