ABOUT Janet M. Olawsky

Janet M. Olawsky is an Associate in the Minneapolis, Minnesota, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. She represents businesses in complex litigation relating to non-compete/non-solicitation agreements, misappropriation of trade secrets, contract disputes, and business torts.

Ms. Olawsky also defends employers against claims brought by former employees, including cases alleging discrimination, retaliation, hostile work environment, negligence, tortious interference, and defamation. She represents clients before administrative agencies, in state and federal court, and before arbitration panels. Ms. Olawsky also advises employers on personnel and policy issues and agreements.

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Ms. Olawsky practiced employment law at a boutique employment law firm in Minneapolis and worked as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Kevin A. Lund, Third Judicial District of Minnesota. During law school, Ms. Olawsky served as a research assistant, volunteered extensively for the Innocence Project, and represented clients as a certified student attorney.
