Jerry Rempel

JERRY P. REMPEL (Managing Shareholder) graduated with Honors from Butte College and received his Juris Doctorate from Cal Northern School of Law where he represented the school in the National Moot Court Competition. Mr. Rempel joined SRTK in 2003, after spending several years in the workers’ compensation industry representing applicants. Mr. Rempel was also a claims examiner for CSAA. In 2004, he opened the Chico office and, while he has focused primarily on workers’ compensation law since 2001, he has also diversified into the civil/employment law arena where he also represents and advises employers on issues relating to ADA/FEHA compliance, wage and hour claims, and workplace accommodations. Mr. Rempel has been certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization as a Certified Specialist in Workers' Compensation. Mr. Rempel is a shareholder and manager of our Chico/Redding and Sacramento offices. Mr. Rempel is a frequent presenter and has provided training to our clients and attorneys in virtually all aspects of workers’ compensation law, as well as cross over issues concerning ADA, FEHA, OSHA, Age Discrimination (ADEA) and the like. Mr. Rempel is a third-degree black belt in the martial art of Kuk Sul Do and an avid cyclist and triathlete.
