ABOUT Joanna M. Rodriguez
Joanna M. Rodriguez is an Associate in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. She focuses her practice on employment-related litigation in state and federal courts in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Ms. Rodriguez has represented management in all phases of employment litigation, in both jury and non-jury proceedings, and before state and federal administrative agencies. Ms. Rodriguez dedicates a significant portion of her practice to defending employers in complex class and collective actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act, state wage and hour laws, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. In this role, she also works with employers to ensure compliance with the FLSA and its state law counterparts.
In addition to providing employers with day-to-day advice and counsel, Ms. Rodriguez reviews employment policies, performs wage and hour audits, and conducts third-party investigations. She frequently provides training to managers in all areas of employment law, including leave management, sexual harassment prevention, harassment investigations, and supervisory training.
