Joe Emanuel

Joe Emanuel is an associate in our Brunswick office, specializing in governmental liability, business litigation, and general liability.

Prior to joining Hall Booth Smith, Mr. Emanuel served as the judicial law clerk for the Superior Courts of the Atlantic Judicial Circuit, which covers six counties in coastal Georgia. He has previously worked as a litigator, representing local governments in metro Atlanta, and, before becoming a lawyer, he managed restaurants for Waffle House, Inc.

Mr. Emanuel earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law where he was an active member of the Moot Court Society, a pupil in the Joseph Henry Lumpkin Inn of Court, and a notes editor for the for the Journal of Intellectual Property Law. He was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in the study of Constitutional Law and worked for the Gwinnett County Solicitor's Office under the Third Year Practice Act. He also holds a B.A. in psychology from the University of West Georgia.

In his spare time, Mr. Emanuel enjoys exploring the islands of coastal Georgia and spending time with his family.
