John Kozak

John Kozak is a partner in the firm’s Tampa office. Mr. Kozak manages the Tampa office’s Insurance Coverage Group. In addition, Mr. Kozak is a pivotal part of our construction litigation team, defending contractors, developers, and design professionals in multi-million dollar claims stemming from the construction of large residential and commercial developments.

Mr. Kozak has over 21 years of experience in state and federal courts in multiple jurisdictions. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Pennsylvania State University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh in 1995.

Mr. Kozak is a member of the Florida and Georgia Bars and is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.
