ABOUT Joseph C. DeBlasio
Joseph C. DeBlasio is a Principal and the Litigation Manager of the Monmouth County, New Jersey, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He has devoted his entire career exclusively to the representation of management in all aspects of labor and employment-related matters.
Mr. DeBlasio primarily focuses his practice on defending employers in litigation matters involving claims alleging wrongful discharge, discrimination, unlawful harassment, whistle-blower and other forms of unlawful retaliation, and wage-and-hour violations. He represents clients in federal and state courts and has conducted numerous jury trials. He negotiates and enforces employment agreements and restrictive covenants. Mr. DeBlasio also handles labor arbitrations under collective bargaining agreements. He frequently counsels employers for compliance issues and litigation avoidance, as well as for handbooks and policy drafting. He is a frequent speaker at seminars directed to in-house counsel and human resources professionals.
