Julie A. Weerth

Julie Weerth is a partner in WSHB’s New York office. She began her career as a litigator in New York, specializing in labor law and coverage litigation. Julie joined AIG in 2006, where she held positions of increasing responsibility, including Chief Underwriting Officer of Excess Casualty and Vice President of Complex Casualty Claims. Julie brings a unique perspective and experience to every case, emanating from her years of managing and directing litigation in hundreds of complex casualty cases nationwide, including class action, mass tort, products liability, construction defect, transportation, environmental pollution, sexual abuse, Title IX, discrimination, defamation, product disparagement, and public entities liability. In addition, Julie managed the insurance coverage litigation of some of the most high profile and precedent setting declaratory judgment actions of the last decade, with amounts in dispute frequently exceeding $100 million.
