Julie D. Kohler

Julie has represented numerous major telecommunications providers and tower companies in the negotiation, acquisition and implementation of wireless telecommunications facilities. She has represented telecommunications and energy clients before the Connecticut Siting Council, the Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority, as well as local boards and commissions.

Julie was responsible for the approval of numerous unique telecommunications projects, including the statewide modernization of client telecommunication infrastructure, and the first public Distributed Antenna System (DAS) in Connecticut, an approved 20-mile DAS project to be located along the Merritt Parkway. She also was a lead attorney representing a municipal consortium in CL&P's controversial high-powered transmission line installation through Fairfield, New Haven and Middlesex counties.

Julie also has extensive experience in all phases of land use and development and has appeared before state agencies and local commissions.
