Justin L. Seekamp

Justin L. Seekamp is an Partner in the firm’s Orlando office. His areas of practice are primarily focused on general civil litigation, insurance representation, catastrophic and personal injury, vehicle negligence, personal injury protection (PIP), and SIU fraud litigation.

Mr. Seekamp graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science with a focus in political theory from the State University of New York at Albany. Mr. Seekamp went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center.

During his first summer semester at Nova Law, Mr. Seekamp had the distinguished honor of interning with Judge Susan F. Greenhawt, administrative Judge of the Unified Family Court of Broward County.

Mr. Seekamp was honored with the Book Award for the highest grade in the Children and Family Law Clinic, in addition to being named to the Dean’s List. Mr. Seekamp also distinguished himself during his time at Nova Law as a Certified Legal Intern by earning the highest Pro Bono Service Certificate for dedicating over 150 hours of time to those in need.

Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Mr. Seekamp served as a volunteer attorney for a local legal-aid provider in Kissimmee and Orlando. Then Mr. Seekamp worked at a local firm that practiced in foreclosure defense, family law, and bankruptcy. For his work as a volunteer attorney, Mr. Seekamp was awarded the 2012 Osceola County Pro Bono Champion Award by Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida. Additionally, Mr. Seekamp has been recognized by the Supreme Court of Florida, the Young Lawyers Division of The Florida Bar and the Florida Pro Bono Coordinators Association for his exceptional pro bono service in 2011 and 2013.

In his spare time, Mr. Seekamp enjoys participating in competitive athletic events and volunteering for various causes.
