Katherine E. Carlson

Katherine Carlson's practice focuses on representing builders, developers, and general contractors in commercial and residential construction defect litigation. She also handles general civil litigation matters, including property damage and personal injury claims. In all areas of her practice, Katherine's interest in technology has made her an invaluable asset in the emerging field of e-discovery and data management issues.

Katherine grew up in San Diego, California. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Law and Society. Katherine returned to San Diego to attend the University of San Diego, School of Law, where she was the Vice-Chair of the Appellate Moot Court Board and a member of the San Diego International Law Journal. Katherine started working at KNCH during her third year of law school and has been with the firm ever since.

Outside of work, Katherine enjoys sailing, reading novels, and spending time with her husband, Nick. Katherine is grateful she gets to continue her legal career in the town where she grew up, surrounded by her friends and family.
