Kimberly Kawahira

KIMBERLY I. KAWAHIRA is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor’s degree in Law & Society. Ms. Kawahira earned her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School where she served as the Note and Comments Editor of the Southwestern Journal of Law and Trade in the Americas. Ms. Kawahira brings a wealth of claims experience to SRTK, having worked as a claims examiner for Sedgwick Claims Management Services and for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. She also worked as a city prosecutor for the law firm of Dapeer, Rosenblit & Litvak, representing various cities in the Los Angeles and San Bernardino County areas prior to re-entering the world of workers’ compensation legal defense with a state-wide firm, where she represented insurers in all aspects of workers’ compensation claims. Ms. Kawahira is proficient in conversational Japanese.
