Kirsten K. Cinquemani

Kirsten is senior counsel at WSHB’s Orange County office, where her practice is focused on complex civil litigation, with an emphasis in medical malpractice defense. In addition to medical negligence, she has significant experience handling professional liability, products liability and general liability matters.

Kirsten is a fierce advocate for clients and aggressively represents their interests in sensitive matters. Prior to joining the firm, Kirsten specialized in the defense of health care professionals of all specialties in high-exposure medical malpractice matters involving catastrophic brain injury and wrongful death. Kirsten began her career at a trial law firm in Boston, where she was first introduced to medical malpractice, product liability, and general liability cases. As a junior associate, she was assigned to manage the defense of a multimillion-dollar global pump manufacturer in connection with mass toxic tort litigation involving claims of injury due to asbestos exposure.

Kirsten graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Irvine, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She received her Juris Doctorate from Boston University School of Law, with a concentration in Litigation and Dispute Resolution. Prior to law school, she volunteered with the Legal Aid Society of Orange County, where she assisted low-income litigants with small claims matters, uncontested divorce and paternity petitions, and the Lawyer Referral Service.
