ABOUT Kristen Marie Baylis
Kristen M. Baylis is the Knowledge Management (“KM”) Attorney for Jackson Lewis P.C.’s Workplace Training Practice Group and is based in the firm’s Denver office. Ms. Baylis serves as a resource for the practice group members; develops training content, materials and presentations; monitors workplace training required by state and federal law; discovers and implements state-of-the-art training technology; and formulates new methods of providing interactive and dynamic workplace training. Ms. Baylis also regularly conducts workplace training for employers of all sizes and industries and on a variety of topics including sexual harassment; basics of employment law for managers; hiring, documentation, performance management and termination; and effective communication in the workplace.
In her role, Ms. Baylis draws upon her years of experience practicing in the areas of employment litigation and preventive advice and counsel. Additionally, Ms. Baylis brings to the role knowledge and insight into the federal courts gained while serving as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Patrick Michael Duffy, United States District Judge for the District of South Carolina, Charleston Division. Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Ms. Baylis was an attorney at a large Carolinas firm, practicing in the area of employment litigation and counseling.
