ABOUT Kristyne Kennedy
Kristyne Kennedy is an accomplished civil litigation attorney with extensive experience practicing employment law, including litigation, trial experience and providing clients with legal advice and counseling.
Ms. Kennedy's practice is primarily devoted to employment litigation, with experience litigating issues such as employment discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, benefits, whistleblower, overtime and unpaid wages, leave and disability issues, employment contracts, workplace torts, and other employment law claims under various state and federal laws. She has been a member of the Florida Bar since 2000, and represents clients in all Florida federal and state courts, as well as before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Florida Commission on Human Relations (FCHR), Department of Labor (DOL), and other administrative agencies investigating employer practices. She also provides clients with legal advice and counseling, policy development and compliance training on various workplace law issues, with an emphasis on preventive practices.
Ms. Kennedy is a regular speaker on a variety of employment law topics at seminars and other presentations. She is Past President of the Orange County Bar Association and has also served on other professional boards including the Central Florida Human Resource Association.
Ms. Kennedy has repeatedly been selected as one of Florida's “Super Lawyers” in the practice area of Employment and Labor.
