Landon J. Greene

Landon J. Greene focuses his practice on representing regional, national, and global insurers in a variety of complex coverage disputes relating to personal, commercial, umbrella, and reinsurance policies, as well as defending bad faith claims. He draws on experience working for a multinational investment bank and financial services corporation, where he provided regulatory advice on corporate compliance matters.

As a law student, Landon gained experience as an intern in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and as a judicial extern for the Honorable Marian B. Horn in the United States Court of Federal Claims.

Experience Highlights

Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith Claims

•Representative Matters
•Prevailed on summary adjudication on behalf of an insurer in a bad faith action involving a potentially fraudulent claim for automobile theft
•Achieved a favorable resolution for a national insurer at mediation and settlement negotiation involving trucking accident with numerous claimants
•Achieved favorable settlement for an insurer in insurance coverage and bad faith action for allegedly failing to provide uninsured motorists benefits to insured injured in a hit-and-run automobile accident
•Achieved favorable settlement of insurance coverage claim after filing a complaint for declaratory relief in which the insureds agreed there was no coverage under their commercial general liability policy for suits against them as property owners of an apartment complex
•Represented insurers in coverage and bad faith disputes involving the following policies: crime and fidelity, commercial general liability, personal and commercial automobile, uninsured and underinsured motorists, errors and omissions, homeowners, commercial property, and personal umbrella
