Lauren R. Nance

Lauren Nance, a native of Mooresville, N.C., attended The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for both her undergraduate and law degrees. In 2007, Ms. Nance was awarded her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Sociology. She continued at UNC’s School of Law and obtained her JD in 2010. In 2009, Ms. Nance completed her clerkship at Bagwell Holt Smith with attorney Tom Holt, where she discovered her passion for real estate law.

Ms. Nance handles residential purchases, refinances, and estate planning issues seamlessly and efficiently. She is a homeowner herself, having purchased her first home while working her way through law school, and understands the excitement and responsibility of home ownership. Ms. Nance asserts that she is “fortunate to be a part of what could be considered one of the most memorable moments of many people’s lives.”

Ms. Nance is extremely involved in the local community. She is currently serving her third term on the Historic District Commission for the City of Graham. Ms. Nance has enjoyed assisting with community service projects, including Habitat for Humanity and Fix-A-Home. Ms. Nance lives in Graham with her husband, their toddler, and their two dogs- a Siberian Husky and a Black and Tan Hound. When she is not working, Ms. Nance enjoys antique auctions, reading, and gardening.

Real estate transactions are momentous occasions, which Ms. Nance is happy to be an integral part of. She feels, “Real estate is unique in that we develop lasting relationships with many people in the community.”
