Lauren Spears

Lauren Spears is a Partner in the Charleston office in the Medical Malpractice and Professional Negligence practice groups. Ms. Spears received her undergraduate degree from Wofford College and earned her J.D. from the Charleston School of Law where she was active in the Charleston County Student Bar Association, Women in Law and Phi Delta Phi. During law school, Ms. Spears received the CALI Award for Highest Scoring Student in Healthcare Law, as well as serving as a law clerk focusing on medical malpractice and class action litigation. Ms. Spears is admitted to practice in both Georgia and South Carolina.

Ms. Spears defends cases throughout the southeast including Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and South Carolina in areas of medical malpractice, wrongful death, birth trauma litigation and insurance defense.

Ms. Spears also serves on the Charleston School of Law Alumni Association Board of Directors and is a member of the Charleston County Student Bar Association.
