Linda L. Wilson

Linda represents employers in Delaware workers' compensation and unemployment insurance matters. She has experience representing all types of employers and carriers, from small employers with only a few employees to large national companies. Linda counsels her clients on all aspects of Delaware workers' compensation law.

Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, Linda was a deputy attorney general with the Delaware Department of Justice, where she prosecuted criminal and civil matters. As a deputy attorney general, she represented various state agencies, including the Delaware Industrial Accident Board (IAB). Linda was then appointed by the Delaware Secretary of Labor to the position of workers' compensation hearing officer. During this time, she wrote decisions for the IAB and, upon stipulation of the parties, sat in place of the IAB, hearing and deciding matters.

Today, Linda actively appears before the IAB on a variety of legal issues and types of injuries, from crushes and burns to catastrophic injuries, hearing loss, psychological injuries, amputations, electrical shock injuries and repetitive trauma injuries. She also represents employers before Delaware unemployment insurance referees and the Delaware Unemployment Insurance Appeal Board.

Linda received her B.S. in Economics from the University of Delaware and her juris doctor from the Widener University School of Law. In her free time, Linda enjoys watching lacrosse and gardening.
