Lisa A. McClane

Lisa A. McClane is a Principal in the Las Vegas, Nevada, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice covers the spectrum of employment litigation, including both state and federal claims.

Ms. McClane has experience advocating for corporate clients and public employers in state and federal court proceedings, arbitrations, mediations and before governmental agencies including the EEOC, NERC, DETR and DOL. She has handled cases involving claims of race, age, disability, religious and sex discrimination, as well as sexual harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and non-compete/restrictive covenant issues.

Ms. McClane also routinely counsels clients on a variety of employment practices, including employment contracts and employee handbooks and policies. She also conducts seminars relating to anti-discrimination/harassment policies and FMLA compliance.

Ms. McClane was a member of the Honors Program at the University of Nevada Las Vegas where she was named both a University Honors Scholar and Department Honors Scholar. The Honors Program published Ms. McClane’s honors thesis entitled “Charles Chesnutt-Issues of Race in Early American Literature.”

While attending law school, Ms. McClane was an Executive Officer and member of the Society of Advocates. In 2005, she and her partner were named the American Bar Association’s National Client Counseling Champions and together they advanced to the semi-final round of the Lewis M. Brown International Client Counseling Competition. She also served as an extern for the Honorable David T. Wall of the Eighth Judicial District Court and for the Nevada Attorney General’s office.
