Luke P. Breslin

Luke P. Breslin is an Associate in the Berkeley Heights and Monmouth County, New Jersey, offices of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters in federal and state courts and administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the New Jersey Division of Civil Rights. Mr. Breslin is also a member of the firm’s Disability Management Practice Group and contributor to Jackson Lewis publications discussing various state and local leave laws. He counsels clients on the ever-changing landscape of leave laws, workplace accommodations and policies, which are designed to assist companies to comply with federal, state and municipal obligations.

Mr. Breslin’s professional experience includes serving as the general counsel of a multi-state healthcare organization which owns and operates numerous post-acute care centers and senior living communities. His relevant duties included, among others, legal responsibility for workplace litigation, union-organized facilities (including negotiations), administration of employee benefit plans, human resources administration and oversight over policies and procedures, and general risk management and compliance. Mr. Breslin developed and implemented compliance initiatives on issues ranging from healthcare to human resources across the company’s operations. He leverages this unique blend of experience to not only represent clients in litigation and agency actions but in a preventive practice designed to avoid legal challenges employers encounter on a daily basis.

Additionally, Mr. Breslin completed a clerkship for the Honorable Robert L. Polifroni, P.J.Cv. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County following his completion of law school.
