Mary Matthews

Mary L. Matthews is an Associate in our office in Brunswick, Georgia, and she focuses her practice on aging services, medical malpractice and correctional health care matters.

Earlier in her career, she was an Associate at a boutique medical malpractice and civil litigation defense firm in Atlanta, and she previously worked as a summer associate, law clerk and researcher at other firms.

Mary earned a Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she won the CALI Award for highest grade in legal research and was an Articles Editor of the Georgia Law Review. She also served as Chief Investigator on the UGA Law Honor Court, and was involved with the Student Bar Association. She also completed dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in journalism and Spanish from the University of Georgia.
